There may be more soon, hopefully, even, but Corpse Party specifically is my passion right now guys believe me
You may be asking me, "Louis, what the genuine fuck does 2.5 comics even mean?!?!?" well listen here and listen good, boy. As of right now I'm writing comics for 2 universes, Corpse Party and Let The Curtain Fall Early (LTCFE). Corpse Party consists of 2 comics, the main comic Corpse Party (duh) and The Pregame which is just some small comics that aren't completely relevant to Corpse Party's plot. That's the .5 . LTCFE is comedy driven and does not have plot.Neither of these are released yet but will hopefully be readable.. soon.

Corpse party is currently playing in the year 2028, not far into the future, but either way. Being dead means no one aging means no one dying of age means the spirit world is generally more technologically advanced than the surface, our world. The entire comic is split into multiple acts, each with a new cast and new protagonist. The spirit world is populated by ghosts, the spirit world equivalent of regular animals, and spirits.In the shock of death and rebirth, most neglect to question what they're told by other spirits, ending up living in total ignorance of what's really going on around them. Until they get a certain "wake up call", at least.✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧

Spirits, mostly refer to specifically 2 kinds of the same species; A spirit is either a human who died and moved on to the spirit world, or the offspring of said humans.Each spirit has a lucid, which can be basically anything. A spirit's lucid is their guide to the many lives they'll live after their first one, mostly presenting only while transitioning from one world to another.Spirits generally resemble their lucid, some more than others. The only rule that applies to all spirits is that their legs should resemble their lucids in some way, whatever that may be. All spirits have tails, either the tail of their lucid (if applicable) or any kind of wire/devil tail. Full spirits (spirits that were born in the spirit world) are generally closer to their lucids, and are more likely to closely resemble them.Notable difference between full and half spirits are:full; More likely to have animalistic/non-human features, no deathmark, no horns, their tags have an 'X' as their morality ranking as the actual ranking wouldn't apply to them. Full spirits are also more likely to have markings or fur on the rest of their bodies above the waist.half; More likely to look more like regular living humans, deathmark somewhere on their body corresponding to how they died, some kind of horn/s on their head (anywhere), Full morality ranking on their tag.✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧Ghosts evolved to thrive in the hard conditions of the spirit world, specifically anywhere not made livable to spirits. 'Ghosts' are more of an umbrella term for any creature native to the spirit world. Unlike the animals in our world, ghosts are just as cognitive as humans and spirits are. Though they may not always talk to spirits directly, they definitely talk amongst themselves.Of course, this means most ghosts are available to be bargained or reasoned with. They love to talk and to gossip, so a spirit's reputation dictates how willing a ghost is to listen to a deal.Ghosts, unlike spirits, have what is essentially magic; abilities that are of great benefit for, mostly, spirits.
Tags are what all spirits have on their (usually left) ear. All the same color, all the same setup, seemingly no immediate difference to a piercing. Except, you can't take it off.
All tags follow the same layout:
00X (barcode)00 : Area code; aka birthplace or deathplace depending. A grid over the world map, determines what district (country) you'll live in the spirit world. Not locked to specific countries, one district may correspond to multiple countries and one country may correspond to multiple districts.X : Morality ranking; only applicable to half spirits for obvious reasons.. Ranking goes;
SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, F, FF
SS being the best FF being the worst. Getting SS or S is essentially impossible.Barcode : Unique to each spirit. Explains itself, its a barcode.The better the morality ranking on the tag the better your start in the spirit world will be. Money, area, medical and social help; a good tag means a good life and a bad tag means basically being left out to rot.✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧Devils do not exist outside of the passing. They appear while crossing from one world to another but can not interact with any of those worlds.✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧Lucids are spiritual guides. They can be basically anything, but animals are usually easier to translate... In their real form they appear after a person's first death during the passing but are linked to every person's biology. Spirits take on part of their lucid's appearence, bloodlines usually share spirits, hybrids do not exist.✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧Deathmarks are slightly glowing teal markings that vaguely represent how the spirit had died. They appear as part of the skin like a mole or like freckles and can not be removed but can be tattoo'd over or otherwise covered up. They glow ever so slightly.
